ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION SUMMER 2010 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is offering paid 10-week internships for the summer of 2010. We’re looking for college students who are interested in pursuing a career as a reporter, photographer, copy editor, multimedia producer, database specialist or interactive graphic artist. Our interns are treated as full-time professional journalists and every attempt is made to place interns in departments that match their areas of interest or specialization. Qualifications: Open to full-time juniors, seniors or graduate students. We also accept applications from people who have graduated within six months of the start of the internship. Previous professional daily deadline experience preferred. Must have worked on the campus newspaper or other publications. To apply, send: • A short note explaining why you want to be a journalist and how an internship at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution will help you pursue your goal. And note specific internship you’re interested in: reporting, copy editing, photography, flash interactive graphics, database work
